Beauty From the Ashes

Terminus Threads is a specialty linen manufacturer established in December of 2014. I rescue fabrics headed for landfills and turn it into great products for you and your home. It's called upcycling.

Recycling is the right thing to do. I can't stand seeing 11.1 million tons of fabric go to landfills each year. There's too much good stuff going to waste! Fabrics are discarded daily because people no longer see the beauty in them. I still see beauty, so I'm doing something about it.

This is also why I decided in 2015 to donate a portion of my proceeds to local charities like the Atlanta Mission, YWCA Battered Women's Shelter, Calvary Children's Home, single mother's rebuilding and a ton of material was donated to ReLoom Atlanta, Theater in the Square and local high school theater and sewing programs. Much like these fabrics, folks deserve a second chance and now it's my son's turn.

Every item you purchase reduces landfill waste and goes towards the recovery of my 17-year-old son, Ethan. Ethan's been battling POTS disease since 2015 and the recovery road is long and challenging.

Sure, Ethan looks like a healthy teenager here, but POTS has stolen his youth. Once a vibrant cross country runner, now he can barely get out of bed to attend high school and the list of symptoms he deals with on a daily basis is unfathomable. Doctors say he'll recover eventually, but unsure of how long the process will take. That's not good enough, so we're exploring experimental treatments which he'll start January 2017 and of course, insurance won't cover it.

Once Ethan recovers, our family would like to donate future proceeds to other POTS suffers.

Our products might not be for you, that's okay. We just ask that you share our story and Terminus Threads site with your family and friends. Thank you for your support!  Xoxo
